The paradox of change

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Accept the peril of knowledge

Opinions rarely matter in real world; facts, figures & organisation needs do, but I insists since here is my personal space.

To advocate change differing much from our own training or experiences, some that was even outsourced prior then something got to give. Stand firmly on your principles or accept the knowledge gaps.

Evidently, change is inevitable and constant.

Would we have the knowledge & confidence to learn something that’s out of our area of competence and comfort zone?

Knowing change is necessary but tough.

Why organisations usually fail badly to effect change, specifically in cross-training because the benefits are one-sided in the form of lean employment, efficient tasking, single pay-multiple placements etc.

The worker 🐝 will have to learn or relearn, increasing workload, skills that might not complement future endeavours (think about skills future or in-house continuing education take up rate?)

How to lead people to feel good and bring out the ability and willingness to perform is more an art than management.

I do embrace change till the unforgiving waves of change knock me off course to a different, uncertain path yet having the wisdom to define my own journey.

Some people don't like change, but you need to embrace change if the alternative is disaster.
